Rise of Legions Review
About Rise of Legions
Rise of Legions is a hybrid of MOBA, tower defense and deck building – with fast-paced, easy-to-pickup tug-of-war strategy. Play solo or bring a friend for co-op or 2v2, collect cards, build your deck and crush your enemies!
With Rise of Legions you’re goal is to take out/over your opponents final rune(a diamond on top of a stone tower) but to do this you have to strategize the best time to release your troops, control your mana and fight off attackers all at the same time, each win gains you more cards which you use to upgrade your main set or, if you’re clever enough your second or even third deck, this makes the game very tactical.
Speaking technical for a moment, the entire time I played Rise of Legions the game ran perfectly, I had not real performance hits, no lag no nothing, it just simply ran, and considering how many minions I had out at one point I’d say that’s one big accomplishment.
The graphics was well made and everything looked nice, this cartoonish style is very popular right now and you can easily see why.
To say I enjoyed this game would be an understatement, I went in expecting to stream it for maybe 45 minutes, an hour tops, 3 hours later me and Nightmaaron (a TiB member) are marching down this stone road with a handful of gatling turrets and a slither of hope to take a victory of one of our hardest battles yet! Spoiler we won.
